Terms & Conditions

  • These are the terms and conditions for any onsite or offsite computer configurations, repairs, upgrades and digital services offered by Direct I.T Services. References "client", "your", "you", "end user" and the like refers to you the person requesting service.
  • When you use Direct I.T services, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions.
  • Direct I.T Services reserves the right to alter, add and subtract from these terms and conditions at any time. The most up to date terms and conditions are available to view online here at https://directitservices.com.au/terms-&-conditions. These online terms and conditions replace any previously agreed and it is the responsibility of the client to make themselves aware of the latest terms and conditions.
  • Direct I.T Services reserves the right to reject service to anyone at any time.
  • You are required to let Direct I.T Services know of any damage, misuse or previous repair attempts to any computer, device or software systems Direct I.T Services is to perform work on prior to commencement, if you fail to do so Direct I.T Services will not be held responsible.
  • On all computer repairs, upgrades, configurations and troubleshooting, we only warranty the "service" that was performed for a period of one month which does not include any software or configuration issues created and/or caused by the end user, virus, spyware, hacking or tampering with settings etc.
  • Direct I.T Services will in no circumstance cover any misuse, tampering, abuse, fire, theft, accidental damage, surges, spikes, brownouts, loss or damage from normal wear and tear, software issues created by end users, virus, spyware etc. This applies to all our services.
  • Direct I.T Services will make every reasonable effort to protect your data. However, it is possible that data can be lost due to factors beyond our control. You, the client are responsible for backing up your data to removable media. Direct I.T Services may back up your data for you at your request if your computer system has the necessary components to do so onsite, or by other means offsite. Direct I.T Services will not be held responsible in any way for lost data, or any loss of revenue or income resulting from such loss. The client understands that ALL DATA WILL BE LOST if we have to format your hard drive, including any applications that are not included with your version of Windows, that you do not have legal licenses for. You also understand that during the course of service, data (personal files) can become corrupt, unusable, in such case you will not hold Direct I.T Services responsible.
  • Direct I.T Services will only offer a limited liability in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. If your computer problems recurs subsequent to a service call, or another problem occurs, this will be considered a separate issue, and if a service call is requested, you will be charged the regular rate. Hardware warranty is via original manufacturers warranty only unless otherwise specified in the invoice.
  • Any Data backup, ghosting, drive imaging, drive copying, data transfer Direct I.T Services undertake depends on the condition of your disk and data integrity. Charges apply.
  • Direct I.T Services will not be responsible to the client or any third party for any breach of software license, for software provided to Direct I.T Services by the client to be installed on a client's computer or device.
  • You will void your warranty if you or any other unauthorized person adds or removes any device from the network. Removes any cables, change any settings in the network, moves any data jacks that Direct I.T Services install. Refer to your service invoice for warranty information.
  • Where no agreement has been made, Direct I.T Services is not responsible for tutoring. We do not support any kind of games, illegal downloading software, movies or games etc.
  • Direct I.T Services will not do any work without your consent, if Direct I.T Services find anything else wrong with your system besides what you mentioned, you will be notified with an estimate. If you agree, work will be done and you can pay the balance upon pickup. If you disagree you will be charged a $40 diagnostic fee.
  • You Agree to pay any expenses, materials and labour.
  • You Authorize Direct I.T Services to perform work on your PC, device, network and/or any other technical service.
